Mr. Dawa Tshering, the former executive director, will continue to be actively involved in the foundation as the founder/advisor to the board and as a goodwill ambassador. He had to relinquish the executive functions in accordance with Bhutan Civil Society Rules that limit the founder to one or two terms.
